How we work on custom carpentry & woodwork
Carpentry is where Mandal Industry started, and it is still the heart of the business. Staircases, main doors, wall panelling, pooja units and one-off pieces that a showroom can’t supply are what our carpenters do every day.
Share a photo, a sketch or your architect’s drawing. We turn it into shop drawings with exact dimensions and joinery details, and you approve them before any wood is cut.
We work in teak, sheesham and engineered wood with veneer, and finish with PU or melamine polish chosen for Goa’s humidity, so the wood doesn’t swell, crack or lose its finish after one monsoon.

Custom carpentry & woodwork: common questions
Can you copy a design from a photo?
Yes. Send us the photo and your measurements. We’ll prepare drawings adapted to your space for approval.
Do you repair or restore old woodwork?
Yes. We repair, re-polish and replace parts of existing staircases, doors and furniture.
Is teak always the best choice?
Not always. Teak is excellent for doors and staircases, but engineered wood with veneer is often better for large panels because it stays flat.
Do you treat wood against termites?
Yes, termite treatment is standard on our woodwork.
